It would be nice if every day at work was an easy shift. Sadly, life simply doesn’t work like that. Co-workers, bosses, customers, and deadlines all conspire to keep even the best employees rushed off their feet, and the mediocre ones ready to have a minor breakdown.
However, some days are worse than others, and many of us would struggle to top the drama of @JeanGreyfire’s most recent shift. Taking to Twitter to share the trauma, they claimed that they might lose their job and get sued for something that had happened at work. The reason was that they had accidentally spilt coffee on a pregnant customer; the woman then proceeded to go into labor and an ambulance had to be called.
While there is no denying that this was a terrifying experience in person, those responding to the thread were undeniably tickled by the workplace horror story. Some were even sympathetic, sharing tales of their own experiences of unintentionally giving or receiving poor service. There are no further updates on the mom and baby or the fate of their job, but it’s safe to say everyone involved will have a story to tell for years to come.
