Another meme emerged from iFunny in early February 2021 that used the Gotye Wokeuplikethis Hyperborea format to demonstrate the absurdity of a Regular Show episode’s middle. However, the original iFunny uploader is unknown. The first known repost was made to Instagram on February 12th, 2021.

Starting in July 2021, Regular Show episode progression started being used on Twitter. On July 16th, 2021, Twitter user @MunstaMasta posted a tweet talking about “the escalation in Regular Show episodes is fucking crazy…” The tweet (shown below) received roughly 3,600 likes over the course of three months.

The above tweet inspired more Twitter users to make jokes about the absurdity of Regular Show episodes. On July 19th, 2021, Twitter user @parrttyy_ tweeted “Regular show episode pacing be like” with a video attached of a weird car crash. The tweet (shown below) received roughly 119,800 likes over the course of three months. This tweet was reshaped into a meme on iFunny posted on July 20th, 2021, which was featured and received roughly 70,600 smiles.
